Operators Training School (OTS) was founded in 1987 to supply training for Heavy Equipment Operators. Employers have since relied on OTS to provide quality, practical training for existing employees or have hired graduates from the school's registered courses
The founder of the school, Don Tonsaker, was an Excavating Contractor for fourteen years prior to opening the school. With his practical experience in construction excavation techniques, including:
Underground Utilities Site Preparation Foundations Road BuildingCourses were developed to teach operators the safe and productive skills needed in today's work place. At our training site located in Langley, BC, Canada, courses run year around, including beginners programs, as well as upgrading for experienced operators. We also offer mobile training and evaluations on many different machines. This service has been very successful and used by many Cities and Municipalities in the public sector. We now offer this service internationally.
At OTS, over 1200 operators have graduated since 1987 and our reputation for providing quality training and service has been unequaled throughout Canada. We look forward to serving any of your training needs, anywhere in the world.
